When a diamond is formed, tiny pieces of dust and other minerals can be trapped inside. These become tiny black or white marks, known as inclusions. Clarity refers to the internal purity of a diamond, basically how clean the stone looks. These inclusions make your diamond unique as no two will ever be the same!

The fewer the inclusions, the rarer and more valuable the diamond! The clarity of the diamond is determined by the ease with which these inclusions can be seen.
